Fulham are relegated because of the Michael Jackson statue

Mohamed Al Fayed may look like he's permanently lost in a museum but he knows the real reason Fulham got relegated, and yes it is to do with that Michael Jackson statue.

The ex-Fulham owner recently attributed the removal of the statue as being directly linked with Fulham's loss of luck and subsequent relegation:
"This statue was a charm and we removed the luck from the club and now we have to pay the price.
"When (Khan) asked me to move it I said, 'you must be crazy'. This is such a fantastic statue which the fans are crying out for.
"But now he has paid the price because the club has been relegated. He called me because he told me he wanted Michael to return. I told him, no way."
Obviously this is bollocks but it has spawned a whole bunch of internet jokes like that Khan actually blames the boogie or something about Smooth Criminals.  Beat it.  That's another one.  Black or white?  There's loads of things you can do on MJ really because if he's taught me anything, it's that being a drug addicted lunatic that hangs out with young boys is totally fine if you wrote some good songs in the 80s.  And when I win that trial I shall call it the MJ defence.
