Rangers lose something something Dundee United

Dundee United secured their place in the Scottish Cup Final after pumping Rangers 3-1.  Ally McCoist was so sad :(

Goals from blah blah blah were enough to end Rangers' hilarious season, but they will take great comfort in the fact that they've cheated their way to League One victory.  There's no feeling quite like buying yourself a trophy and unfortunately for Dundee United they're going to have to do it the hard way and hope that years of nurturing youth and waiting for the Old Firm to go away will be justified when they take on either St Johnstone or the mighty Aberdeen in the final.

United have a pretty bright future ahead of them since McNamara seems to know what he's doing and they also have Robertson, Mackay-Steven and Gauld coming through.  Rangers on the other hand (Daily Record):
The Rangers Football Club Ltd (TRFCL) has reported an £18.19 million pre-tax loss for the 13 months to June 30, 2013.
The company, with operates “a professional football club in Scotland, together with related commercial activities”, reports it owes parent company Rangers International Football Club Plc (RIFC), £16.16 million.
And it gets even worse still

I think it's safe to say that this achievement will rank up their with any future events in my life like the birth of children, marriage or when Aberdeen won the League Cup this year.  Have we mentioned that yet?

So anyway, to summarise: Rangers owe lots of money because they are cheating their way to "success" but still can't even buy their way to success.  They have the second highest wage bill in Scotland, until recently paid their manager £800,000 a year, and he's fucking useless by the way, and Dundee United have a chance to win a trophy.

The most important thing to note though is that I'm finally not terrible at Football Manager
