Alex Ferguson has left the building

Manchester United beat Swansea 2-1 with an 87th minute goal from rubber lipped defender Rio Ferdinand on Sunday and I've just realised I haven't written anything since about last Tuesday.  Christ on a bike!

The legendary Scottish manager still has an away game against West Brom to go with this current team and didn't include Wayne Rooney in the last home game at Old Trafford.  He's handed in a transfer request and Phil Jones might have battered him during training, though we can't confirm this no matter how many times Jack tweets Rooney to ask him.  Rooney will probably be asked to go away in exchange for some gold coins even though Ferguson told the BBC that the club had refused his request.  If no coins are received, Ferguson will trade the secrets of Monarchy in exchange for 5 turns of peace.

Ferguson ended the match by addressing the crowd with a microphone and telling them to support David Moyes in the same that he was, which as I recall was about six trophy-less years.  I fully intend to support David Moyes in his mission to mid table Man Utd, it's a message I can really get behind.

Whether Rooney leaves or not, I don't think anyone really cares.  He's not even really that interesting to watch anymore now that he's stopped kicking people.  It's a bit like my Uncle when he 'went clean' after some 'dark times'.  I much preferred it when I had to hide my possessions so he wouldn't sell them for drugs.  I think.  Now I think about it I might mean I didn't prefer that
