No-one likes Steven Gerrard, says El-Hadji Diouf

Beloved Senegalese lizard El-Hadji Diouf has had a go at Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, saying that no-one likes him and that he sucks.  I paraphrased that.

The now Leeds player said that Gerrard was 'egotistical' and that Liverpool players cannot stand their captain, but that this has nothing to do with the fact that Stevie G totally burned him in his autobiography a few years ago.

"I wasn't Diouf's number one fan.

"Being around Melwood and Anfield I knew which players were hungry, which players had Liverpool at heart. Diouf was just interested in himself. His attitude was all wrong."

Diouf's response to that was to say 'well Pele named me in his 100 players of the century and not him' which I thought was very grown up of him.  It's a slightly different reaction to the one he normally has, like when Jamie Mackie broke his leg and Diouf stood over him calling him a dick.  He'd be the worst doctor ever.
