Berbatov still has his dignity

You can take his hair but you can't take his dignity. Berbatov has spoken out against Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson and is treatment of the Bulgarian. It's safe to say that he won't be sending him a Christmas Card, unless it says, "Merry Christmas jerk-face, I hate you" - but that would be childish.

That is how I think of Berbatov, as one of the few genuinely cool men playing football. Ferguson told Berbatov that he would not feature in the first team much as United were going to play a faster, more direct style of football. Berbatov lit up a cigarette and said "I rush for no man" - then flicked up his empty cigarette packet and volleyed it into the bin.

Not concerned with how things ended, he left with many trophies, a top scorer award and of course his dignity (he says). He did refuse to say goodbye to Sir Alex because that's what the bigger man does. I'm not sure how to wrap this up so here is a GIF.
