Craig Bellamy bailed on Liverpool a few days ago, to sign for his hometown club Cardiff City who play in the Championship.
The Welshman was probably Team GB's best player in the Olympics and new Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers had already said somewhere that he thought the forward would be an important player this year. Regardless, Bellamy has moved to Cardiff for family reasons and probably because he supports them. If you were a great footballer and could get your hometown club to even slight success, you're an asshole if you don't try and do that. Although if you get paid millions more at a big club then that might make sense but otherwise, I'm with you Craig Bellamy. I might add that I mean that spiritually - there's no way I'm going to Cardiff. It sounds shit
