Rio Ferdinand is morally curious

Rio Ferdinand has been left out of the England squad for this summer's Euro 2012 tournaments and he's not at all bitter about it, or even slightly annoyed.  But Hodgson's reasons are definitely evil.

The United defender has questioned the morality of selecting John Terry, who had the captaincy removed because he was ruining marriages and being racist, and not selecting arguably one of the best players England have had over the past 10 years.  At his prime Ferdinand was absolutely immense but now  because Alex Ferguson pointed out that at the age of 33 his knees might explode, this is said to be the reason behind Hodgson's thought process.  It's either that or he just hates black people.

Ferdinand insists he will be cheering at home for the event anyway, regardless of the fact that he wasn't invited.  And after John Terry's trial he plans to watch reruns of Euro 2012.  Zing!
