No-one wants to manage Liverpool

Now that Kenny Dalglish has gone home for a sit down, Liverpool can finally hire a manager who will take them to the next level - seventh place!  Unfortunately no-one good wants to do it.

Frank de Boer is the latest candidate to have ruled himself out of the running, stating that he'd rather try and do something good at Ajax where he keeps winning trophies rather than even begin to comprehend wtf he's meant to do with a team that values Stewart Downing at £18million.

The former Dutch international has rejected an approach from the Anfield club and I bet this makes Roberto Martinez feel really great about himself seeing as he thought he had it nailed on.  If he had any self respect he'd tell them to get lost now, or at least not put out until the second date.  And he definitely shouldn't phone them, no, no.  Can't seem too keen.  WHY WON'T MY PHONE RING, I'M TOO IMPATIENT FOR LOVE GAMES
