Tony Fernandes has revealed that QPR have already pretty much planned to be relegated, telling reporters that this is the case in-between head butting the press desk and clutching a picture of Neil Warnock's win/loss ratio.
So he didn't actually say he expects to be relegated but more that they've sort of made plans to be because it's quite likely. It's sensible financial planning and an indication of how much faith they already have in Mark Hughes' stirling managerial steering of the Queens Park Rangers ship. He's basically taken a sinking cruise liner, put some extra rocket launchers on the side instead of shoring up the holes and then sailed it directly into a whirlpool. There have been more successful Costa holidays than Mark Hughes' two months in charge of that team.
