FA Charge Sunderland and Newcastle for having a war

Newcastle drew 1-1 with Sunderland at the weekend in what some would call "an old-fashioned derby". I'd call it a brawl.

The FA have charged the two clubs with  failing to control their players. Lee Cattermole set the tone early, putting a reducer in on Tiote and getting a yellow card in the first minute. Lee Cattermole is probably the dirtiest, most aggressive and stupidest midfielder I've ever seen at this level and is lucky not to get sent off every game. He's only had six red cards in the Premier League which baffles me. He got one at the end of this game for foul and abusive language so straight red on top of a yellow card, great effort.

After that tackle in the first minute, it was war. There were tackles and yellow cards flying around all over the place. Sessegnon was sent off for an elbow on Tiote, who took a lot of punishment during the game. There were penalties to both sides, a couple of goals but very little football played. Ameobi scored an equaliser right at the end which was hilarious.

Pardew critised O'Neill and Sunderland for the aggressive way they were set out. O'Neill retaliated and said "your team were worse than mine". Some coaching staff got sent to the stands, some players got suspensions and overall everyone looked like a giant bunch of twats. Welcome to the Premier Leaugue.
