Bayer Leverkusen have guy love for Lionel Messi

Rudi Voeller may sound like he was supposed to be a porn star in the 80s, but he actually grew up to be the director of sport for Bayer Leverkusen and is currently really annoyed with two of his players for spending 90 minutes trying to take Lionel Messi's shirt off.

During Barcelona's victory over the German side in Tuesday's Champions League clash, Michal Kadlec and Manuel Friedrich turned into teenage girls and begged Messi for his shirt at half-time and at the end of the game.  Bearing in mind that these two teams are supposedly on the same footballing level seeing as they are competing with each other, you would be excused for thinking that this is normally the behaviour of players on a team that will lose.  Things just got even worse for the Messi fans as Voeller then said:
"I can guarantee that Kadlec and Friedrich will auction off their Messi shirts for a good cause. I have not spoken to the pair yet, but I will do."
There's showing respect for your opponent and then there's stalking them and trying to take their clothes off.  And at the same place of work too?  Ah well.  I think it's great that times have changed and that's how we are supposed to show our appreciation now.  That new girl at my work is going to feel really good about herself tomorrow!
