Pele is jealous of Messi

Pele is widely regarded as the best player ever because people older than you say so.  Have you ever actually watched him?  He was pretty good, so I can see where it comes from, but I think it's safe to say Lionel Messi is probably comparable at this stage in his career.  Not so says Pele!

The Brazilian three times World Cup winner has expressed his concern at the lack of scoring in Messi's current game, and pointed that arguably maybe the Argentinian forward is quite good.  But he's no Pele.
"When Messi's scored 1,283 goals like me, when he's won three World Cups, we'll talk about it,"
"He's a great player for Barcelona, but when he plays for Argentina he doesn't have the same success.
"People always ask me: 'When is the new Pele going to be born?' Never. My father and mother have closed the factory."
Did I mention that this whole interview was conducted whilst he wore a t-shirt with his own face on it?  He also puts himself in the Brazil squad in FIFA with all 99 ratings, except for goalkeeping stats, because he never really played in goal.  But if he did he would probably be the best ever goalkeeper the world has seen.  Pele continued "once right, I heard that Franco Baresi had been trying to bake a loaf of bread and I was like this: no fucking chance.  So I bought all this flour and stuff and I made the best loaf of fucking bread you've ever seen.  Then I played football with it and saved a bunch of orphans from a menacing horde of white people.  BECAUSE I'M PELE, MOTHER FUCKER".

I made some of that up.
