Neil Warnock sacked

QPR manager Neil Warnock has been or is about to be fired, apparently.  As in the next few hours.  Happy new year!  Are we still saying that?

QPR currently sit in 17th position in the Premier League, which is not in the top 5, where they'd like to be. Thus, the most sensible thing to do is get rid of their manager before he has a chance to buy some better players and secure their status in the division and replace him with Mark Hughes who was getting really bored playing Minecraft at home until now.

The other rumoured replacements (this hasn't even been announced officially yet) are Gianfranco Zola and Skeletor.  It is hoped that both would guarantee instant Champions League football and Skeletor in particular would bring some much needed steel to QPR's line up; his renowned skills in front of goal should help the strikers alone, with his specialties including the coveted 'overhead kick'.  The only stumbling block is his £40million transfer fee from the fantasy land that the QPR owners live in.
