This is Suarez's version of an apology,
"In my country, 'negro' is a word we use commonly, a word which doesn't show any lack of respect and is even less so a form of racist abuse"I could post the entire statement he released but it's long and boring. Basically he didn't do anything wrong and he isn't racist. He doesn't seem to understand that just because he doesn't think it was racist or disrespectful, the fact is that Evra did find it offensive. Maybe Evra is a cry baby, I mean all Suarez said was that he kicked him because "you are black" and he "doesn't talk to blacks" and teased him with "blackie, blackie, blackie", why would anyone think that's racist?
After hearing the FA's verdict, Liverpool had the chance to prove to the world that they are not paranoid, always playing the victim twats by coming down on Suarez and saying that perhaps racism is wrong and has no place in modern football? Maybe even say sorry to Evra?
"Mr Evra was deemed to be credible in spite of admitting that he himself used insulting and threatening words towards Luis and that his initial charge as to the word used was somehow a mistake."
"Liverpool Football Club have supported Luis Suarez because we fundamentally do not believe that Luis on that day - or frankly any other - did or would engage in a racist act."
"The FA panel has damaged the reputation of one the Premier League's best players"
No, they would rather make the rest of the footballing world think they are scum bags. Despite Suarez's obvious innocence, they are not actually going to appeal the ban. Make of that what you will. Perhaps this article is slightly inflammatory and will wind up some Liverpool fans. I stand firmly by my viewpoint that if you agree with the statements released by either Liverpool or Suarez, then you are an imbecile.
