Once upon a time in a land very close to where I live, Russell Anderson was the Aberdeen captain and the SPL was still worth watching. Hopefully the good times are set to roll again because Cadger is back, and he's captain again!
Having journeyed far and wide to such perilous heights as Sunderland where he got injured, Russell moved further south to Plymouth Argyle where he got injured. After a little while in that part of England, our hero moved to Derby.... where he got injured. It would appear that the lack of butteries down south has had a detrimental effect on the defender and if you don't know what butteries are, you haven't lived yet.
If you want to know why we don't produce many world class athletes in Scotland, I would point towards the fact that our national dish is a whole bunch of random shit boiled in a sheep's belly, and an average Aberdonian morning snack is lard turned into a bread mixture, with some butter on top. Mmmm.... heart disease.
Anderson has stated that if the dreaded injury monster comes back during this 'pay to play' contract with the Dons, he'll tear it up, because that's the kind of guy he is. An awesome kind of guy!
