Yaya Toure is African Player of the Year

So it turns out that Yaya Toure is actually pretty awesome at football and has now been recognised for this awesomeness with Africa's most prestigious individual football award.

Despite Arsene Wenger having previously branded the player as 'incredibly average', Toure has been one of the main driving forces behind Man City's surge to the top of the Premiership.  Well, him and money.  We also recently told you that he feels guilty about leaving the club to compete in the African Cup of Nations in January, mostly because it's shit, so maybe this award will help relieve some of this pain.

The Ivory Coast midfielder beat Seydou Keita and Andre Ayew for the title and said that "This is the highest prize I can get in my career" before returning to his gigantic mansion on the outskirts of Manchester and watching two Ukrainian prostitutes open him a beer while he rests in his giant hot-tub, eating a McFlurry.
