Today United are being linked with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Luka Modric because they are playing quite well for their respective clubs. Modric won't go anywhere, even if the Manchester side bid upwards of the rumoured £30million they are planning to offer, because Harry Redknapp has it written in his will that the midfielder be buried alive alongside him.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has scored 15 in 16 games this season and despite the fact that he was terrible for Real Madrid, SAF is apparently a big fan and wants to add the striker to his roster. The United boss has a squad ravaged by injuries and disease but has stated that he won't be pressured into panic buying during the next transfer window. From the Daily Mail (but actually the Man Utd programme):
At least we know he reads FitbaThatba now.All things being equal I am perfectly happy with the strength of our squad in terms of depth, quality and age range.'I will not be swayed by the endless tweets and blogs urging the club to get busy in the transfer market next month.
