Scotland 2-1 Denmark

We won a game so this means we are officially better than Denmark right? Sweet.

I didn't actually see the game live because I was out with a girl eating fudge cake. That's not a euphemism. However I did watch the extended highlights and read some reviews so that's enough surely? Anyway....

Scotland took the lead through an own goal which came from a Charlie Adam free kick which looked like a miss-hit to me. It came as a result of a really soft free kick being awarded. I'll put on my tartan bonnet: Scotland took the lead after Don Cowie was assaulted on the edge of the box. Charlie Adam brilliantly drilled in a low free kick which the defender had no chance with other than to slice into his own net.

Alan McGregor, or Shagger as he's known, because he likes to shag people (us Scots love nicknames), made a big balls up for Denmark's goal. Perhaps distracted by a lady in the crowd or just the mental image of heaving breasts, he misjudged Eriksen's free kick, which soared over his head into the top corner.

Robert Snodgrass scored what turned out to be the winning goal in the 44th minute. Denmark got bored of defending and let him score a diving header unmarked at the back post after a great ball from Kenny Miller. Snodgrass started his career at Livingston. He actually turned down a trial at Barcelona in his youth. Yes, you read that correctly. Scotland's Robert Snodgrass who plays for Leeds United turned down Barcelona. I once turned down Beyoncé. Too sweaty.
