Man City transfer rumour #789939873 - Luka Modric and Cesc Fabregas

As this season draws to a close, expect FitbaThatba to become the graveyard of Man City transfer stories.  Like this one:

The Sunday People:
MANCHESTER CITY are ready to unleash a concerted Abu Dhabi-backed effort to land Roberto Mancini’s top summer target Cesc Fabregas.
They will offer a staggering £58million for the Arsenal star – valued at £60m by Arsene Wenger.
That demolishes the British record £50m transfer fee Chelsea paid for Fernando Torres in January.
And it could be just the start, with Mancini also looking at Tottenham midfield maestro Luka Modric – who is on Sir Alex Ferguson’s wishlist at Old Trafford.
Seeing City poach Modric would be galling enough, but the noisy neighbours also want to hijack Manchester United’s moves for England and Aston Villa star Ashley Young, and Dutch wizard Wesley Sneijder.
It's like a real life version of Career Mode in FIFA where you just buy whoever the fuck you want.  Interestingly they want to offer £2 million less than Arsenal value Fabregas at, which is surely just an insult - "Sure, we could afford that, but instead we're going to offer you more than you can refuse and then set fire to 500,000 wheelie bins, or just bury all the other money in a garden.  Not ours, just someones"

Man City are real dicks.
