More amazing Man City transfer news

Clarence Seedorf, now 64 years old, is being lined up for a summer move to Man City according to the Daily Mail, because they just can't spend their money fast enough.

City's midfield of De Jong, Barry, Milner, Johnson and Wright Phillips just isn't boring enough and it is thought that bringing in the granddad of 7 will add some much needed zip to the flowing football that has pushed City towards the top of the table.  Seedorf:

'I am hearing a lot of rumours,' he said. 'But I am awaiting an offer from Milan as there are some concrete offers on the table from Brazil and other clubs. But I will firstly think about the Scudetto before my future.'
He later added "have you seen my shoes?" before moaning about the prices of bus tickets.  In fairness, Seedorf is one of an elite club that has won the Champions League, or European Cup, with 3 different clubs - Ajax, Real Madrid and AC Milan twice - so he has some experience.  I left Silva out of that list of midfielders because he's actually brilliant, and performs best for City when he is left on the bench for entire games at a time.  He won the world cup back in the Summer but Mancini knows best.
